tristan + tami – downtown fredericksburg engagement session

tristan + tami were referred to me by one of my very best friends nicole. the two of them grew up together and have remained close after all these years. i had met tami a few years ago and was so excited when she reached out to me to photograph their wedding day. after touring their gorgeous venue, the inn at the old silk mill in fredericksburg, tristan took us to downtown fredericksburg and we found some gorgeous locations. this might be my new favorite spot for sessions!

i have been really wanting to shoot a session in/near a river or stream. i had shown tristan a shot of a picture i had come across and he took us to the perfect spot… the sun was setting right as we got there and these two troopers completely trusted me when i asked them if they’d climb out onto a rock in the water. i think they’ll completely agree that it was 100% worth it!
